At Happy Artists, we developed the project's visual communication, creative direction, and UI/UX design and implementation, shaping a cohesive digital identity that transforms the exploration of Skiathos into an interactive journey of discovery. The visual language draws inspiration from historical archives, vintage photography, and the island's collective memory. Black-and-white imagery, analog textures, expressive typography, and bold electric-blue compositions create a distinctive aesthetic where documentary collage meets contemporary digital design. - Harry Macheras
Our UI/UX approach focuses on creating an intuitive, mobile-first experience that connects physical locations with digital storytelling. Interactive maps, GPS navigation, thematic routes, QR-triggered AR experiences, and bilingual content invite visitors to explore the island through multiple layers of history, culture, and nature.
Accessibility and inclusion are central to the experience, with dedicated navigation features and filters designed to support visitors with different needs.
The result is a unified visual and digital ecosystem that bridges physical and virtual spaces, transforming cultural information into meaningful, engaging experiences. - Harry Macheras
