Book layout

This publication presents the Métiers d’Art “Alexander the Great” an original watch, an exclusively designed work of art. Some of the design was dictated by “Vacheron Constantin” corporate image guidelines but mostly it was dictated by a desire to create a book that people would actually enjoy reading and like to keep in their collection. The book layout’s are crisp and simple, using only photos, texts and a sophisticates bronze metallic in the logo page numbering detail and on the pictures frame.   The limited edition consists of twenty watches, each dedicated to one of twenty cities, which were of great historical importance and were strongly connected to the life and accomplishments of Alexander the Great. Eighteen of those cities were founded by the Macedonian king himself and bear his name: Alexandria.
